How it works
An API is a door into a system that other programs may use. Through it the assistant can ask for an order, a stock level or free slots, and get the answer in a format that can be read automatically.
What can be done through an API is decided by the system and by which permissions have been granted. Some systems also require a particular plan for the API to be available.
